Physiotherapy is understanding how and why movement and function take place. Physiotherapists are highly skilled and autonomous health professionals who provide safe, quality client-centred physiotherapy through a commitment to service availability, accessibility and excellence. The profession is shaped by scientific evidence and the education and expertise of the physiotherapists delivering the services.
Massage therapy can be used to prevent injuries, for therapeutic relaxation, to alleviate stress, and to manage acute and chronic pain. Our Registered Massage Therapists are regulated health professionals who are trained to assess and treat physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints of the body using a mostly hands-on approach. Our highly skilled therapists will help you to identify those areas in your body that need some extra attention and select the most appropriate massage techniques to restore optimal tissue health. Although massage therapy is primarily a hands-on based treatment, your massage therapist can also use other modalities to help you such as heat/ice, acupuncture, cupping, and electrotherapy. You may also be educated on exercises to help you throughout your day.
