Alexandra Caramete, PT, MSc.PT, BSc.Kin (Hons) Physiotherapist Certified in Medical Acupuncture Trained in Dizziness and Vestibular Rehabilitation Alexandra is a very experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for people. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Alex started her journey towards the physiotherapy profession at York University where she earned her Honours Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. While at York University, became certified as a personal trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. After entering private physiotherapy practice, Alexandra completed the McMaster University Medical Acupuncture Program. She continued to develop her physiotherapy skills and pursued training in managing Dizziness related issues through Vestibular Rehabilitation. Alexandra has significant experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and vestibular hypo function. Currently, Alexandra has successfully completed her intermediate manual therapy exam and is studying to complete her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and subsequently become a CAMPT Certified Physiotherapist with the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Alexandra extensively uses hands-on manual therapy, acupuncture, cupping, and targeted active exercise programs to successfully treat back, neck, shoulder and various other orthopaedic conditions and physical pain problems. She is acquiring further training to incorporate more extensive myofascial release techniques as well as vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys keeping up with basketball and almost every other sport (she is a die hard Raptors fan), yoga and staying fit with a home exercise program. She and her husband are kept preoccupied by their “mini” golden-doodle Maggie, who Alexandra will be trail running with beside their new home in Tottenham!

Physiotherapist Asya is a Registered Physiotherapist with a true passion for helping people. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she completed the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy Degree. Prior to this, she obtained the Honours Bachelor of Science Degree with Biology and Psychology majors. Asya is dedicated to life-long learning and continuing education and has completed numerous post-professional courses, including myofascial release, K-taping, sports taping, Lynn Watson’s shoulder course, as well as Level 1 and 2 manual therapy courses for the upper and lower quadrants. Asya is working towards completing her post-professional Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy to become a Fellow of Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists. Asya’s expertise is in treating multiple musculoskeletal conditions in a wide variety of clients, regardless of age and level of athletic ability. Her comprehensive approach to care incorporates a hands-on approach, an individualized muscle-retraining program, and education to empower her clients. She has much success rehabilitating clients and empowering them to be active participants in their own recovery. In her free time Asya enjoys leading an active lifestyle that involves rock-climbing, Pilates, and swimming lessons. She also enjoys listening to music, reading in English and Russian, and watching soccer.
- CAMPT Certified Physiotherapist - Certified Athletic Therapist - Certified Athletic Trainer - Registered Kinesiologist - Certified in Medical Acupuncture Michael is a highly experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for guiding people towards success. He graduated from York University with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy. In 1997, he became certified as an Athletic Therapist, CATA(C), in Canada. He graduated from McMaster University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy. Later that year he became certified as an Athletic Trainer, ATC, in the United States. After entering private physiotherapy practice, Michael completed a post-graduate Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (Dip. Manip. PT), from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, in 2002. Upon completion of his diploma he became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT) accredited by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT). In 2007, Michael completed his certificate in anatomical acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI). In 2016, Michael pursued his designation as a Registered Kinesiologist, (R.KIN), in Ontario. Currently, Michael is near the completion his Doctorate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Michigan, USA. Michael’s treatment expertise is in the field of hands-on physiotherapy focusing on neck, shoulder and back pain. His clinical practice is now limited and he is focusing most of his time on educating and mentoring Physiotherapists, Athletic Therapists and Kinesiology students. He is an Examiner and Chief Instructor within the post-graduate Diploma Program of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Michael is an invited speaker with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and serves as an Assistant Lecturer and Faculty member with the School of Kinesiology and Health Science Program at York University in Toronto. When not treating, teaching or studying, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Laura and three children whether on the soccer field, in a basketball court or simply enjoying the outdoors.
Adam Perkins, PT, MSc.PT, BA.Kin (Hons) Registered Physiotherapist Adam is an experienced clinician, who focuses on both general and sports musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Adam has been practicing physiotherapy since he graduated from Queens University with a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 2012. Additionally Adam attended Brock University, where he attained a undergraduate degree, Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. Prior to completing his physiotherapy degree Adam worked as a kinesiologist providing athletic therapy services both in clinic and on field including several seasons working with the Toronto Thunder Football Club. Adam continued his passion for learning by expanding his tool belt through taking a wide variety of courses in soft tissue techniques, accupunture, dry needling, McKenzie and Mulligan therapy techiniques and several courses in concussion mangement. Additionally Adam is working to complete his manual therapy levels through the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. Adam's journey to become a physiotherapist likely stemmed from from his experience playing elite soccer and hockey as well as many other sports resulting in various injuries. Since then, Adam has maintained a passion for the physiotherapy profession including treatment of athletes who have played in the NHL and CFL as well as junior pro athletes in basketball and golf. Outside the clinic you can find Adam working out at the gym, playing hockey, soccer, volleyball, rock climing, snowboarding or wakeboarding. He also enjoys cars and various do it yourself projects. Although Adam has an athletic background he very much enjoys treating injuries and ailments of all types and patients of all ages. Adam believes in finding the root cause of your injury and will build a client-focused and individual treatment plan based on the latest physiotherapy research to give the best patient care possible.
Joy Gamble, RMT Registered Massage Therapist Joy is exactly as her name implies, an absolute pleasure. Joy is a Massage Therapist registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, which sets the standard of practice and professionalism in Ontario. Joy has extensive training with massage therapy techniques including Swedish massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Joint Mobility, Lymphatic Drainage, Progressive and Remedial Exercise, Hydrotherapy, Abdominal and Breast Massage, and Pregnant and Infant Massage. Whether it’s to rehabilitate, relax, rejuvenate and revive, Joy practices with a high degree of ethical care, compassion and professionalism as she focuses her treatments to the client’s needs and preferences. Her delivery of massage therapy is an effective, a relaxing or an energizing experience. Outside of the massage therapy room, Joy enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Marcia Quiroga, RMT, CAT(C) Registered Massage Therapist Certified Athletic Therapist Marcia is an energetic and motivated therapist, with a passion for wellness and wellbeing. Marcia started her journey towards the Athletic Therapy profession at York University where she attended three years of her Honours Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. She graduated Sheridan College with an Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy). Marcia gained her certification through the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) as an Athletic Therapist in 2017. She continued to develop her Athletic Therapy skills and pursued further training as a Massage Therapist. In November 2017 she graduated from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. Currently Marcia has successfully become a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists (CMTO). Passionate about her craft she will continue to enhance and add to her hands on skill set. Having previous exposure in the rehabilitation profession, Marcia has treated a wide range of injuries. From the general population, to varsity level athletes, yogis and both semi-professional and professional athletes, she is sure to incorporate a unique approach to her treatments. Marcia strongly believes in the therapeutic benefit of massage, and incorporates more of a holistic focus. Outside of her professional life, you will most likely find Marcia spreading her positive vibes practicing Yoga, taking long hikes, working out or enjoying community activities in her home in Caledon East.
Dayna Currie, RMT, REMT, BA Dayna graduated at the top of her class from The D’Arcy Lane Institute where she received rigorous hands on massage therapy training. Conjointly with her Registered Massage Therapist certification, Dayna runs a successful equine massage therapy practice in the Caledon/Schomberg area. These cumulative experiences have led Dayna to develop the critical thinking skills needed to effectively implement empathetic and focused treatments for her clients. Her modalities include Swedish Massage Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Fascial Technique, and Hydrotherapy.
