I am currently working as an Interim Physiotherapist.
I completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011 from Punjabi University Patiala, India and did Masters from the same university in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. I have been practicing as a physiotherapist after completion of my graduation. I presented my post graduation research paper regarding back issues after pregnancy in International conference on Women and Development in 2014. I found my profession very fulfilling as it gives me a chance to serve the community. I believe that skill of effective history taking and assessment is the key to design an effective treatment program for the patient and educating him/her about the problem and its corrective exercises is crucial component to achieve the treatment goals.
I love enjoying the nature, music and spending time with my family in my free time.

Hello, my name is Parisa. I graduated from UBC in 2019 and I'm excited to continue my Kinesiology career at Sunstone Physiotherapy Clinic. My treatment plans are designed to active weak muscles, re-pattern motor control, reduce symptomatic pain and restore your confidence in your ability to move freely.
I'm also certified in Level 1 Functional Movement Screen (FMS), and I'm in the process of getting my level 2 certification. This screen is very useful for identifying limitations or asymmetries.
